Starting Testogel

After a long battle with various GPS at my surgery, followed by issues with the local pharmacy, I have finally collected my prescription for Testogel. Apparently my levels are at “rock bottom” so I’m very pleased to finally be able to add it to my HRT, which I’ve been on for a couple of years.
That said, I’m kind of apprehensive about starting it… I’ve read so much about the benefits, & listened to many podcasts by healthcare professionals about it, so I know I need to try it…excited, terrified, hopeful etc!!!
I’d love to hear some real experiences about using it, including how on earth you can evenly divide a sachet into 16!!!!
TIA!

Makes me so angry that Androfem is not available on the NHS (maybe later this year according to Louise Newson), so we are left fumbling around trying to measure appropriate doses.

I got Testim which at least comes in little tubes that you can put the cap back on. I wouldn’t be too apprehensive about taking it, despite the fact it probably says not for use on women!! I think it’s given me a lot more energy and va va voom, low testosterone is not fun. No side effects for me at all. But hasn’t really helped with my libido.

I'm very interested in this. I've got osteopenia and a lot of fatigue.

I was trying to see what's available, I'm in Ireland and unsure about approaching my GP about it. I feel I'll be fobbed off as I don't think it's approved for use in women here, not clear.

My main concern is my bones!

Following with interest!
