I didn't want to read and run @Zazu44 as I can see you've not had any replies.
Not quite sure of the timeline here.
Did your periods stop a while before your hysterectomy? Or do you mean you were put into surgical menopause at the time of your hysterectomy when they took out your ovaries as well?
And was the bleeding happening after your periods had stopped (or seemed to have stopped?)
Sorry for all the questions!
Most women find that when they have their ovaries removed, they have meno symptoms immediately. A lot are offered HRT straight after the op.
However, meno symptoms can carry on for many years. Even in women who have their ovaries, they can be still having flushes for years and years, sometimes forever. So it's not unusual to have symptoms at 58 .
Being overweight gives you some extra estrogen as the fat is converted into estrogen. So it could be that this has helped you over for a bit but now your levels are falling.
I'd ask to see a menopause consultant/gynae and talk to them about it, and consider HRT if you need some help.
