Apologies for the long link above.

There seem to be quite a few options on the market & am curious to know if anyone has found any of them to help & if so with which symptoms?

Thanks.

You can get almost everything in a supplement from your food.

If you feel you are deficient in any one mineral or vitamin (though food allergy or intolerance) it's best to buy that 1 product.

Looking at what's in that product, search for the vitamin/ mineral and you will usually find it's in much higher amounts in your daily food.

Unless you have a restricted diet, you don't need to add calcium, or Vit B, or magnesium. The jury is out on whether soy helps meno symptoms and if it does, it needs to be taken in huge amounts, which then make it the same as the estrogen you'd get in licensed HRT.

If anyone wants to eat soy, eat the foods, like yoghurts, or soya beans.

Sage has been shown to have a very minor effect on hot flushes in some women. You can buy sage drops, or even make your own sage tea from the leaves (buy a sage plant!)

I'm just really sceptical of the whole vitamin industry. It's based on the myth that more of something is better for us, when most of it's in our diets anyway.

OMG! That bottle, to last a month, is £35!!!

It's got tiny amounts of all the vits and minerals in it.
