Hello,
I have posted a post about hairloss when taking hrt, hairloss that starts on the oestrogen part, so it's not intolerance of progesterone or progestin.
Plus my bladder become hyperactive (no utis) and i have a lot of palpitations and chest tight on hrt.
I am only 39. Before chirurgical menauposal, I was in fertility treatment and never I had issues with high dose of oestrogen in my système.
I a really worried about my bones and heart health long term.
I have insomnia and hot flush at night.
I cannot go on like that. i might have developped dépression about that.
I have to see a gyny in 2 weeks. Hope he can find a solution.

You really do need to use estrogen because you are only 39.

You said you had a surgical menopause. Did the remove your womb or just your ovaries?

Can you say why you had the operation?

I think you need to discuss this with your consultant.

It's unlikely that the hair loss is from HRT and more to do with your loss of hormones.

I'm not sure how long you used Femoston, but if you have no ovaries, it could take a high dose of estrogen and many months to get your levels up to where they should be.

Personally, I think you should stick with HRT and find one that suits you.
