Does anyone around my age (50) have this?

I wake up in pain in the night as my finger(nail)s have actually clawed my face - in what feels like a reflex action. I wake up in the morning with wounds on my face - I feel like it looks like I'm coming down with impetigo Confused
Also my finger joints have all started to hurt - I do work on a computer a lot but I'm actually wondering if it's menopause related. Have just ordered myself some joint relief pills so I'll see if that helps too..

Joint pain is a very common issue with peri-menopause and menopause. Are you having other symptoms, too? Hot flushes, night sweats, poor sleep/insomnia, anxiety issues, memory issues/foggy brain, etc, etc.

Your symptom sounds awful by the way 😲

Take some ibuprofen for the joints.

I had aching bones in the morning, until I started HRT.

Then they vanished overnight.

Not the face clawing, which sounds horrendous, but joint pain was my first symptom of peri menopause. Fingers and toes especially, couldn't bend my toes at all as it was agony. I then got really bad neck and jaw pain. I had other symptoms too but that was the worst. 2 weeks on HRT and the pain had gone.
