I've taken Menopace daily for the last few years. It might be a total coincidence but I swear it reduced my perimenopausal overheating within a couple of weeks of starting it. At the very least it's a decent vitamin supplement and won't do you any harm.

Does it just work for sweats or did it help your over all mood. I seem to have pms on steriods and im hoping this helps with mood swings etc

I'm not sure. I wasn't having periods as I had a Mirena coil, and I never had PMS anyway (I was lucky). I just think I feel generally better for taking this supplement.

Maybe talk to your GP and see if maybe HRT is an option for you?

I LOVE IT. Get it. It fixes everything.

Esspee · 07/10/2020 23:25

It won't solve the long term problems of menopause such as osteoporosis, loss of libido, vaginal atrophy, sleep problems. Only replacing hormones will do that.

I think im high risk for hrt as breast cancer runs im the family so im afraid of my life to take hrt. Does anything help for loss of libido?

Menopace won't help loss of libido I don't think. Chat to your GP who'll assess your risk.

Sometimes natural remedies help with libido. Ask in your local health shop.

I’ve done a lot of research and reading and tried it myself. There’s no evidence that it, or any other herbal remedies actually do anything beyond placebo. Diet can help and. Generally healthy lifestyle. HRT does obviously work for some people but also has its downsides.

I have been through menopause and if I had known it was going to last so long, about six years now and still having occasional hot flush, then I would have gone to see a specialist on menopause. It would have been worth the cost. I tried most herbal, creams and magnets. They all gave some relief for symptoms, but not unfortunately for very long. 3 months the magnet worked, 2 months cream was about the same. I saw my doctor a couple of times, but because of controlled high blood pressure, I decided not to go down the HRT route.
