Anyone just gone ahead and ordered this themselves. Just fed up going to the GP and having blood tests and not getting anywhere.

You need to swap to ovestin. Vagifem does not help with Vulval dryness only with vaginal symptoms. Investing is not licensed for vulval use only vaginal but you can use small amounts of the cream on the vulva to relieve the symptoms. However some of your symptoms are suggestive of lichen sclerosis as a pp mentioned. This needs aggressive treatment with steroid creams. You need to be examined to have this diagnosed. If it is lichen and it is not treated you can get loss of vaginal/vulval architecture which can affect function

The fact @felineflutter that this wasn't picked up when you had a smear is a disgrace.

For comparison...
I see a world-class gynae and he does my smears. I have used hrt for ages and Ovestin BUT one smear was rejected as not enough cells.
This was down to dryness / lack of secretion even though it wasn't painful etc.

He said I had to have it redone in 3 months, but use Ovestin for 10 days before the smear and stop two days before.

He said he advises all women to use Ovestin/ Vagifem before smears, so they get a good sample of cells.

Hi I’ve been using vagifem for a month now. I was wondering if anyone has noticed a slightly stronger odour down there and more concentrated wee .
