Light bleeding on foreign brand of Femoston 2/10

Hi all. I've been on Femoston 2/10 for the last 2 years (since I was 43) with no issues. I received a Dutch overlabelled pack from my pharmacy presumably as the UK ones are out of stock. I started these on Monday and since Wednesday I've had light bleeding. It's now Saturday and I've bled every day. I usually have a bleed right at the end of every pack. Any advice?
I'm worried the pack I have is counterfeight. Also worried in case it's post menopausal bleeding but I don't know how I get this investigated at the moment during this pandemic.
Thanks

Doubt it's fake if it's come from a pharmacy (as opposed to bought online.) There are very stringent rules for importing products and a lot of HRT is made overseas anyway.

Bit confused as I thought that brand and that dose was a bleed-free type for women post menopause? That's what it says online on the patient leaflet.

Were you post menopause - no period for 12 months at least- when you started it at 43?

If not, it's the wrong type and you ought to be on Femoston 1mg for women who are in peri or early post meno.

I'd guess it's your own hormones kicking in. Taking 2 tablets is not going to cause bleeding as quickly as that.

@JinglingHellsBells thanks for the info. I am on that brand of HRT as the first brand I tried (can't for the life of me remember the name as I only took it for 2 months) really didn't agree with me. When I took the oestrogen/progesterone tablets for the last 2 weeks of the pack I was almost suicidal with depression. I saw my GP and she switched me to Femoston 1/10 as it contains a different progesterone to the first one I was on. I tolerated this fine with no side effects.
When I went back for a review I discussed the dose with the GP as I had read that women who have an early menopause may need higher doses of oestrogen. I started skipping periods when I was 39/40 so I wanted to make sure I replaced as much oestrogen as I could, so asked for my dose to be increased to 2/10. GP did this.
I had only ever skipped one month of a period if that makes sense. EG skipped a period in Feb but they returned monthly in March.
I visited my GP when I was 40 to say I skipped a period and she sent me away saying I was too young. Happened again when I was 41 but my hormone levels were normal so sent away again. Happened again when I was 42/43 and this time my hormone levels showed I was menopausal so started on HRT.
Sorry that's a bit epic but that's why I'm on these and explains my periods. I don't know if I'm post menopausal s as I've had a period every month with Femoston.

Okay apologies. some of the info online is confusing.
There is Femoston Conti and there is Femoston 1mg and 2mgs. The link I looked at didn't make that clear.

I'd still go with my first answer which is in someone as young as you it's likely to be a surge in your ovarian function and a normal period you have had.

When the NHS is back to some normality, go and see your GP and ask their advice.

Thanks @JinglingHellsBells. I agree. It happened once before and I mentioned it to my GP at an appointment months later. She said if it happened again she would refer me to the post menopausal bleeding clinic but I'm presuming these clinics are cancelled at the moment.
I'll chat to my doc about it when life returns to normal. Thanks for your help.
