Help. Sweating and sore underboobs.

So since all this rubbish peri stuff started during the summer time last year my core body temp has been high.

Now all I have to do is walk up the stair and I start to sweat. And I’m hot all the time even outside.

The problem I have is I have larger boobs and the sweating is causing me problems with soreness.

I have used a cream with an anti fungal in it and that help clear up the Inital ugh stuff. But now I am left with sore rubbing skin.
I took some advice from the internet. I wear a cotton vest top and wear my bra over the top of that which has helped with the rubbing. I keep it clean and as dry as I can.

I use a zinc and castor oil cream but it is still sore. And still causing me problems.

Does anyone else have this and how do you help it.

I am totally dreading the summer coming. As even now I am opening windows and using fans but I am still hot 80% of the time ( not hot flushes as such just hot ) and it is still sore under there. I tried not wearing anything and that didn’t work either.

I put anti-perspirant deodorant under my boobs and that helps a lot. I have also used Fresh Breasts cream which dries to a powder. It's good unless you're in a rush because it takes ages to dry.

I tried anti stuff and it didn’t work. In fact I think it made it worse.

Have a bra fitting if you haven't had one recently

Try a different barrier cream such as bepanthen, and

a different antifungal, e.g. miconazole/daktacort for 2-4 weeks, & see your GP nurse/GP to have a skin swab taken if there's no improvement with these changes (see step 2 medical treatment www.pcds.org.uk/clinical-guidance/intertrigo)

There are some good tips here that may help

I had this and solved it by using moisturiser (E45) on the areas affected.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 12/01/2020 20:04

Keep using the antifungal for at least six weeks then moisturise every day as a pp said.

Menopause is a right fucker.

MmeBufo · 12/01/2020 20:06

Yes, a proper bra fitting (bravissimo / rigby and peller / local independent) and longer use of anti-fungal. To the go if no major improvement.

Sounds utterly miserable.

...to the GP...

Boristhecats · 13/01/2020 07:49

Thanks. I have done all of these and nothing has helped. It is just awful. Do these hot sweats go on for ages. Asked my doctor and he said it varies. Just wondered how long u guys have had them for.

My night sweats were accompanied by insomnia, for months, & made my life miserable. I started HRT & about 10 days later they stopped & I could sleep through the night again, bliss. Recently it all started again so am seeing my GP to review my meds. The benefits of HRT definitely outweigh the cons for me

SalamanderingAbroad · 13/01/2020 08:17

Hrt, really helped, it’d a symptom of falling oestrogen.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 13/01/2020 08:23

I use medicated talc, Calsedene (sp?), from the baby aisle in the supermarket.

JinglingHellsBells · 13/01/2020 11:14

Why won't you try HRT @Boristhecats ?

They can go on for 25 years or more in some women. Varies- no one can tell you.
