@stevensoncl You need to ask MNHQ to take your message down. Really dangerous to list your email and phone number on a forum. Also, (and I don't care personally what you do) you don't want to be seen buying drugs which in the UK are prescription only for other people.

I have been advised by my pharmacist to try and buy HRT patches in Spain because she was unable to obtain any in the UK.

How do you get a prescription from Spain. Do I have to take my UK prescription to Spain, do I need a prescription at all. How do I get a few months worth of supplies if I only get monthly prescriptions in England.

Basically wondering how the exact mechanics work.
Also note that the recommended Whites Pharmacy online has a notice up saying 'no longer accepting any prescriptions for foreseeable future', anyone know what's going on?

This response may be too late for you, sorry, I didn't see it before. Anyway, just take the patch or an empty box of your prescription from the UK to a Spanish pharmacy to show them what you're currently taking. Tell them that you need the same or equivalent and they should be able to sell it to you. That's if you're just there part-time or on holidays. If you live in Spain you need to get a doctor assigned and they can write you prescriptions.

Does anyone know if Angeliq hrt is available over the counter in Spain?
I’ve been on this for several years but it’s now unavailable in the uk & I’m sensitive to progesterone so am struggling to find anything else I can tolerate 🤔👍

My pharmacist (England) just said today that they can't get all my prescribed Evorel patches, again.

They managed to order one 4-week pack, with an expiry date of October 2020, which is the same expiry date as the packs I was being dispensed last spring, and which then as a batch supposedly ran out in the early summer but was available privately for about a month.

So this pack has obviously been released from some stockpile somewhere.

Just read your message re hrt in Spain I was also given patched with the norethisterone tablets but was a bit confused when I take the tablets do you just take one every day at the same time and out patches on twice a week
