Hi all,
Well I have finally picked up a private prescription of sandrena gel and progesterone. The progesterone needs to be taken every night continuously. I haven’t had a period since last August. Will I get a bleed once I start taking it?

Any positive experiences with the gel? It’s taken me a LONG time to get it!

I have been prescribed utrogestan and it says to take on day 15-26 each cycle, but my cycle is all over the place, can anyone shine any light on this, should I just take it!

Has anyone had relief from severe brain fog with Sandrena? My BF is debilitating!

So today i seen a private gynaecologist not only because of my heavy periods but more so because of my moods that go along with them...
She prescribed me sandrena alone, i am worried now after reading up on it as i still have my womb.
I am 33yrs old and still bleed every month or so.

@PicksNmix If you have paid for an appt, you need to ask the consultant. Email or call them via their office and say you have a query.

If you have been given HRT at 33, assume you are diagnosed with POI/ premature menopause?

No one here knows all the facts around your health so ask the dr :)

In peri estrogen levels tend to be higher
I found hrt helped a lot but the progesterone for me was the winner
Now I'm post menopause I've just gone back on sandrena and utrogestan
I had immediate results with the estrogen
Felt 100% better very quickly
Terrible mood swings and brain fog
I think you'll need to give it a full month to see the balance but it's absolutely worth sticking with
All the best
Janey
