I have just been prescribed these patches in place of livial,as Dr thinks they are safer than tablets, but i am worried as side effects say can cause hair loss, and already suffering badly with that,
Also read that there are some reports of women having bleeds on them,
I am post meno and have been for a long time but still suffer night sweats ,
I have to finish the livial i am taking first so have a bit of time to think about what i want to do
Are they not a mix of Oestrogen and progesterone, but separate , altogether, and does progesterone on its own cause problems
I don;t want to open a box in case i decide i don;t want them
I think my Dr chose these as they are very available, some are not

Just try them, mine were changed albeit like for like I didn't want to read all the side effects. Then see what happens as the side effects may not happen to you.

I've no idea what I am I'm nearly 53 and because I had the mirena I'm on estrogen only I hate anything and was reluctant to start HRT so I just started and not read anything. It's three months and no side effects to speak off. I'm wondering whether the patches may not worsen your hair condition. I'm not sure what you can do about that I'm sorry but I can't really give you any advice on that.
