What's slightly stronger than Kliovance?

Started on Kliovance last November (still also taking Cerelle contraceptive as less than 1 yr since last period) I'm feeling very 'stable', no mood swings, bleeding or hormone headaches, etc - but still getting flushes between 4am & about 6:30. As I take my Kliovance at 6am I feel like I just need something a little stronger to last the final 2 hrs each day before the next dose - though willing to believe that mental model of dosing is completely wrong! Any suggestions, oh wise ones?

Hi GreenHatHacker,

We don't know the answer to this but felt sure someone on the boards will so just bumping this for you.

The only thing stronger is a larger dose of estrogen.

Look at Menopause Matters website. There is a list on the menu- right hand side of Home page. Lists all HRT.
You could look for 2mgs estrogen in the table.

Alternatively, you could swap to something like estrogen gel so you can increase the dose yourself to one that works.

OR why do you take it at 6am? If sleep or night sweats are the main issue, why not take it a bedtime?

Thanks jingling I've just always taken my medications first thing so that I don't forget them - I had wondered about experimenting with the time, but don't want flushes to hit whilst I'm at work... might give that a go though.

Thanks also for the reference to Menopause Matters, will read through
