I'm perimenopausal and have just started month 3 of Elleste Duet. I was on 1mg but have just started month 3 of 2mg day 2.

The first 6 weeks were great but my libido was still low so my GP upped the dosage (I'm now on day 2 of the higher dose).

However the last 3 weeks my anxiety has been awful (never suffered before) my stomach is constantly in knots, I feel my job is suffering...I wake in the night and can't get back to sleep.. I'm overthinking everything..

I'm so tempted to stop...

Hi Everyone,
I hope pp are still responding to the thread?! 🙏
I'm mid 50s started on Femoston 1/10 mainly for vaginal atrophy, that was eventually increased to 2/10. So 6 months in total of Femoston. Felt great at first despite bleeding a lot intermittently but oh the rage! I felt hyper emotional and just plain angry especially in the progesterone phase...poor DH! Anyway lovely GP has put me on Elleste Duet 2/1mg. I'm into my second month and feel quite low in mood, vaginal atrophy feels as if it's coming back and my energy levels are very low! Added to this I feel very anxious and have itchy skin around my neck and head and achy. DH has said that he'll put up with me on Femoston if it means that I start to feel better again!
My question is, has anyone reverted back to a previous HRT? I'm beginning to think that it wasn't too bad and apart from the rage I felt a lot better! 😢 Or has anyone got any suggestions for a different type of HRT?
Thank you for reading x

I have been given a generic version NOVOFEM which has made me feel sick and given me severe heartburn. I have persevered for 3 weeks hoping it might get better but sadly not. I also now have night sweats and anxiety returning. Has anyone recently managed to obtain had Elleste Duet on PX?

Been on elleste duet 2mg for 1 week. Feel really achey and sick. Headache and insomnia. No energy at all. Could this be the pills? Has anyone else had similar experience only after just one week? Feel tempted to stop as feel so bad 😏

Hi I started a thread on this yesterday. I was increased to 2mg and suffering with side effects, hoping these will settle. Did you continue?

I've recently changed from femoston 2/10 to ellest duet 2mg in the hope that it helps with my massive hair loss which is so depressing. Has anyone had any experience with hair regrowth with ellest duet 2mg.
Thanks!

How are you supposed to know if 1mcg is enough and when 2 mcg might be needed? Anyone know about this?
