Swapping from FemSequi to Conti

Been taking HRT for 4 years, it's been a god send, but I'm fed up with random monthly bleeds.
With agreement from GP I'm going to try Conti for 3 months.
54 and no idea if I've actually reached the menopause yet due to HRT.
I am being daft?

According to some stats approx 80% of women will have reached menopause by age 54 (in western developed world anyway) so if you have started on HRT well before this date then the general advice is to try a conti regime when you reach 54. Also depends how far advanced you were in menopause when you started HRT re periods etc? Many women like to stay with cyclical HRT because the bleeds are predictable. However you should not be getting random monthly bleeds on a sequi regime if you are post-menopausal - they should be predictable more or less monthly ( but maybe sometimes missing a month) - not occurring at random times - ie just before or just after you finish the combi pack of patches and go back onto the oestrogen only ones.

This is all academic anyway because Femseven conti (and sequi I understand) is apparently unavailable at the moment unless your pharmacy still has old stocks - as the adhesive in the patch is being reformulated.

You might want to stock up if so or look into alternatives?

Thanks for the reply. I've just looked at the manufacturer and they're Jennsen, so hopefully still available.
I get bleeding probably 2 out of 3 months at the end of the last patch but it's sometimes heavy. I'm just 54 so that's why my GP suggested it.
I'm hesitant about swapping because my symptoms are so well controlled but have had enough of bleeding.
