Hi, I was just wondering if anybody has ever tried this? I saw an advert in the Liz Earl magazine.

I am a bit suspicious of anything promising such great results (helps to reduce the loss of bone mineral in post menopausal women). I am peri but am struggling with joint / bone problem.

Would love to hear recommendations.

what do you mean by joint and bone problems?
If you have pain in your joints you need to see your GP and discuss arthritis etc.

Osteoporosis- low bone density- does not cause pain. The only symptoms are a fracture.

The supplement imo is nonsense- it's 800mgs calcium, some Vit D, which you can buy as separate products or as Osteocare, and some fish cartilage. How fish cartilage is supposed to build bones in humans is a mystery!

If you want to prevent osteoporosis, look at a reputable site like the National Osteoporosis Society for advice on diet and exercise.

If you have joint pain you might benefit from HRT .

Jingling, thank you so much. Yes, you are talking sense. I do have an appointment to see the GP.

Its all smoke and mirrors and I am generally suspicious of anything Holland and Barret sell anyway. The best one I have seen recently is Tumeric tablets. Pinch of tumeric in a plastic capsule at ridiculous price!

Thanks for talking sense.

See how toy get on. I've spent nearly 15 years working on my bone density under a consultant so feel I can offer advice!
