Hi, can you recommend a hormone-free menopause support against hot flashes??

I found this supplement in google, but I don't have any experience: shop.menopearl.com/en/

Can you help me? Confused

Thanks!! Smile

The best support for menopause is a healthy diet full of fresh fruit and veg, lower fat, lowish carb, low sugar, reduce alcohol, losing weight ( heathy BMI), lots of exercise and the great outdoors, relaxation, enough sleep, reduce stress etc.

In addition to that depending on where you are in menopause and how old you are - bio-identical ( = body-identical) HRT (available on NHS) is the most natural proven way to completely eliminate hot flushes and sweats - although in early peri-menopause phyto-oestrogen suplements may help a little.

All these menopause support products are mostly a con as far as I'm concerned.

I started taking Vogel Menoforce sage tablets for the flushing about a month ago. It took 2 weeks but they have helped massively. You take one a day.

I was not at all hopeful they would help, so pleasantly surprised.

Great that you are feeling better Sarcelle - long my it last.

When you are peri-menopausal your hormones are fluctuating anyway so you don;t know what actual effect the supplements are having as the decrease could be due to your natural hormones. It certainly happened to me during peri-menopause. I thought Black Cohosh was my saviour - but it was my own hormones and when I got further into menopause of course - they didn;t work. There is limited research showing limited effectiveness sometimes for some supplements but the studies can be conflicting from what I've read. There is also a strong placebo effect - which of course is good, but I would start with the scientific evidence before forking out on supplements personally.

Hi again and thanks for for your help! How effective is red clover?

I follow a vegan diet and try not to consume a lot of soya but certainly find that even a small amount really helps my symptoms.

The Vogel Menoforce seem to be doing it for me still. No flushes at all.
