Bloating

I've been menopausal for over a year. I regularly suffer with severe and painful bloating, but only in the evening; however, it doesn't seem to be attributed to a particular type of food. I'd really appreciate some advice on alleviation or causes

I haven't been on antibiotics, but I will definitely try the pro-biotic option. Thanks!

when you say bloating, what exactly is it?
Wind? Tummy extended? Feeling full? Feeling fat? Have your bowels changed at all?

You need to see your dr if it carries on- see this link to signs of ovarian cancer.

www.ovacome.org.uk/key-symptoms

Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer
Recognise the B.E.A.T. signs of ovarian cancer

B is for bloating that doesn’t come and go

E is for eating difficulty and feeling full more quickly

A is for abdominal and pelvic pain you feel most days

T is for toilet changes in urination or bowel habits

If you have any of these symptoms which are new and persistent, tell your doctor.

Symptoms of ovarian cancer can vary from woman to woman.

There are other symptoms such as:

Vaginal bleeding
Indigestion
Weight loss
Feeling unusually tired
Pain during sex
Pain or lumps in your pelvic area
*
You could also keep a food diary because it could also be IBS .

If it's only in the evenings that suggests it's food.
