Hi does anyone have or had these? If so how did you cope. I keep realising that I am holding my stomach in which makes them worse

Yes. I think it helps to find out what you're unhappy with. Ugh! it's a big topic Menopause, but I found it to be a bit of an awakening. Suddenly I realized a lot of things annoyed me and I wondered why I lived with so many things that p**d me off. For me it was being a busy parent and not having time to self, not feeling heard and then along came the hormone changes in menopause, then boom. Mood swings.
So I'd try and find out what you are unhappy with. That's a good start and if you don't think that's you, then just try and decide some calm down strategies - what will you choose to do if you get angry/moody.
Finally, just accept it as being part of your bodily changes. For me I got unsettled by possible depressive symptoms (its very similar) I've had it before so not surprised by it but it wasn't depression (it looked like it to others) and for me I needed to realize it was menopause not depression.
So hopefully that helps you in some way but I'm just a beginner on this late stage journey. Best of luck

And exercising and eating well. Exercising, I think is the best tool for menopause (although there are lots of vitamins we need too). Maybe someone else can add what's needed here for you.
