Is anybody using Push Doctor for their private/NHS service?

I just found Push Doctor online and it seems too good to be true, does anyone have any experience of using them either for menopausal symptoms/maintenance or other reasons? I've got an appointment on Friday (10 days from booking) at the NHS GP where essentially I'm hoping to persuade her to send me for testing for my hormone and thyroid levels. I found Push Doctor whilst searching for cystitis/thrush/bacterial vaginosis diagnosis it's all fun here, it's £7 for an initial 10 minute appointment (waiting time 6-12 minutes so far) with a registered NHS GP then £8 for a prescription of up to 7 items and £15 for a referral. You can sign up for £20 a month and then everything is free, including extending your appointment for as many 10 minute blocks as you like (normally £20 each).

It occurs to me that I could have spoken to a GP months ago without worrying about the hassle of getting an appointment and wasting their time and I could actually speak to someone who is not harassed and trying to get me out the door in as few minutes as possible! They say they write to your GP but obviously they don't have access to your medical records. What do you think?

I have bad experience with PushDoctors. I thought it will be quicker to get prescription than book app with my GP.
I booked app with PushDoctors. But this app never happened. They had an "error with their server" but they still charged me £20 for "app cancellation".
I did not cancelled my app and when I was trying to talk with PushDoctors about it they started ignoring me.
So I was charged for the service which was not delivered and ignored and the end.
I do not recommend their service. If something goes wrong they suddenly stop talking to patients (I tried all day and one more time next day).

Dr Morton (Karen) offers a phone line service which has gynae specialists. Better value than Push Doctor. Can't comment on quality as haven't had need to use it yet.

Push Doctor is a rip off!

My scheduled appt didn’t work and they charged me for it plus the next one plus an admin fee. I only wanted antibiotic gel and my prescription was £35, I think! They didn’t make it clear I’d have to pay a private prescription charge.

My little tube of gel cost me about £70!

Yes the Doctor wrote it whilst I was on video and emailed it straight through to me. Excellent service!

I used Push Dr for the first time today and was so impressed, I can now send a taxi to collect my prescription as I paid the pharmacy over the phone, all while staying in my bed. My referral was free too as I signed up for £30 for the year and can now see a plastic surgeon asap. (acid burn)

Just thought I would add my 2 pence in here. I live in a really rural location and getting to my GP is nothing short of a nitemare as I work full time in a national role which means everyday I'm somewhere different in the UK.

I signed up to push doctor a few months back, i suffer from frequent ear infections and tonsilitus that will only go with antibiotics.

Push Doctor is a god send! I speak to the registered GP over Skype on my phone or laptop then they send the prescription to the chemist back home, I nip in and grab it on my way home. You pay the private cost for the prescription (my antibiotics are about £3) and that's it job done. All in all I pay about £30 for the appointment, prescription and medicine, and it's done straight away with no rushed phonecalled in the morning trying to get an emergency appointment or waiting 2 weeks for an appointment. It's great for those one off illnesses that you know a quick pack of tablets can sort out. I've never used them for referrals so I can't comment on that.
