Normal vs perimenopausal blood results at day 21

Related to my other thread re bioidentical hormones, I would be interested to know what people's experience of blood results taken at this time are? Mine don't seem to fit the normal pattern (I had expected oestrogen dominance as I understand that progesterone drops long before estrogen does in peri?).
I am 45 and had my last child at 39 and have no sign of menopause in that my cycle is still regular (26 days) though period now shorter. I have had borderline hypo results last year and am on a low dose of Armour (NDT) but it isn't doing much so possibly a red herring. All the symptoms i have been having over the last few years (heart palps, anxiety, muscle/joint pain, chronic headache and cyclical migraines, fatigue) could be due to peri or something else entirely (but I am running out of ideas)

Oestradiol 120 pmol/l (only follicular rather than luteal range given 99-448 but my understanding is that luteal range is noticeably higher and my day 3 oestradiol taken a year earlier was 167 - luteal should be higher than follicular i think and most other luteal ranges that I have seen seem to start at 150+)

LH 1 IU/l on day 21 (4.4 a year earlier on day 3)
FSH 4 IU/L on day 21 (8.3 a year earlier on day 3)

Progesterone - taken twice. 1st was 14nmol/l (range >30) but 2nd 2months later (one month after 2 weeks of me trying an off the shelf bio progesterone cream) was 50 nmol/l. So indications are that my natural level was low and that maye i took too much cream with the trial.

Testosterone -

This isn't the place to discuss medical issues, I'd advise you to make an appointment with your GP to discuss your results as they are medically trained.

I don't think it's always the case that women are oestrogen dominant ( a bit of a disputed state anyway).

Many women are short of progesterone in the 2nd half of their cycle which gives them irregular bleeding. That's why many drs prescribe the mini pill as treatment.

OP- try Menopause Matters forum - there are some women there who may know more than on MN as it's a forum JUST for meno and hormones.

That's ok :)

But- if you are paying for treatment with MG, then these are the kind of questions she needs to answer when you have an appt with her- does she not go through all of these test results and the implications? my dr would.
