Seriously, at this rate I'm going to misplace a child or forget something vital. I forget something every single time I go to the shops.

I'm usually able to remember all our appointments + lists in my head. These days I have to keep checking what day it is.

If I lose my phone my life will fall apart. Have also noticed I'm becoming as much of a drama llama as 14 year old DD.

thornrose · 19/05/2013 22:50

I remind myself to breathe on my damned phone. Reminders go off every minute. Unfortunately peri menopause has made me more of a procrastinator than usual so I just bloody snooze everything.
I hate my life, its so unfair Wink

Hassled · 19/05/2013 22:50

Write lots of lists and also put anything and everything into your phone calendar whatsit, with an alert. Mine alerts me the day before and then 2 hours before.

HRT has helped me enormously with general dippiness, I have to say. I'm far less bad than I was.

Numberlock · 19/05/2013 22:54

I kid myself that all my lists in my phone are because I've become super organised all of a sudden. Grin

Numberlock · 19/05/2013 22:55

YY to the procrastination too!

VenusUprising · 20/05/2013 12:22

Take a photo of your fridge and board on your phone before you go shopping.

It's helped me no end.

I've been known to bring grocery receipts with me as they're lists too.

Memory like a sieve here too - can we have an icon?! Flowers instead to everyone.

VenusUprising · 20/05/2013 12:24

Snap solo, I also had ME in my 20s so had to learn techniques.

Did you get night sweats with the ME, and have you got them badly now?!
I'm dying with night sweats, it's like being ill again.

Solo · 22/05/2013 00:05

Venus I've had ME for around 13/14 years now and had dreadful night sweats/day sweats about 11 years ago! Sooooo bad!!!
I'm having day sweats now and flushes day and night, but not too bad on the night sweats currently...something else to look forward to Hmm People keep asking me if I'm hot/running around too much etc and I'm surrounded by 98% men too!!! bloody hundreds of them! Blush

I write lists, but almost always forget to take them with me!!

Lighthousekeeping · 22/05/2013 00:09

Me too! What's going on? I even did an Alzheimer's quiz online it's worrying me that much. I used to know all kinds of trivia now I wouldn't dare go in for a pub quiz. I'm dropping everything and twice I've left money in the cashpoint. I start a story but can't remember the names of the people I'm talking about. I'm peri menopausal.

VenusUprising · 22/05/2013 09:56

Oh cheese, Solo!

My aunty also had glandular fever (without the ME following it) and she sweated like a pig throughout her awful meno. She had about ten years of bleeding on and off, various hrt, and sweated all through.

She found vigorous exercise helped and played competitively and trained with her local hockey team, and when she gave that up, she was running in sweat at her desk. My mum had a hysterectomy at 43 so I've no one else to compare with on her side.....

Do you think vigorous exercise is an option!!!?.. Even thinking about it makes me feel tired!!! But hey! At least another thought will flit across the sieve in a minute... Dd you hear the joke about the two little fish?

mum47 · 22/05/2013 11:54

Where to start? Forgot the dc's dentist appointment last week. Write list, lose list. Things drop through my hands when I pick them up. Started to put the cereal in the fridge today. Am currently procrastinating on MN when should be working from home and making a difficult phone call. Need to do supermarket shop but can't face the thought of packing it all away at the till..

marriednotdead · 22/05/2013 15:06

I lost my lunchbox over the weekend. I found it in the fridge at work. Empty.

Made a shopping list, left it on table. Went back for it, lost it again whilst shopping. Found it when unpacking the bags. Returned to shop for most important item on list. Gah!

Started post menopausal dose HRT today and am praying for a miracle. I'm 47.

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 22/05/2013 22:22

I missed an interview today. I got confused and thought it was tomorrow Confused

VenusUprising · 24/05/2013 13:03

Oh poop, Puds. If only you were a day early!
Hope you can reschedule.
