I'm not suffering horrendously but am clearly on the way into menopause. A friend of mine who was suffering badly from mood swings has started using Serenity cream and says it's marvellous.

Has anyone else come across it and what do you think?

Serenity- I purchased this product after deciding not to take hrt anymore. Bit of a desperate attempt really, complete waste of money, hrt really does sort all the symptoms, mood, sweats anxiety etc. This little pot of cream does absolutely nothing, speak to your GP , try a patch or very low dose hrt , which is what I was using , my symptoms are extremely mild , and this pot of serenity is of no use at all, please save your money and speak to an expert.

I'm now 61, so now able to say Wellspring cream doesn't work, after wasting money in desperate attempts to alleviate hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia, waking up in a panic, not sleeping properly would mean tiredness all day long, mood swings to the point of depression but dryness to the point of pain, I fact felt like I was finished as a sexual being, foggy even to continue to work, so had it really bad.
I know everyone is different, my sister had very little of this and sailed through with no help, lucky her. Anyway I got so down and went to see my GP but he was useless but after yet more desperate moments went to see a female doctor GP at the same practice, she's says these creams are expensive nonsense and prescribed me Ovestin cream (Oestrogen) this is delivered vaginally by a plastic tube. After 6 weeks of use I was back to being me again. Now several years later still using it and its keeping me able to function and so happy for this GP who listened and saved me.
There's lots of research now because earlier research on hormone replacement was flawed and than online scary stories did the rest. Yes progesterone be more careful of as you get older, always have regular check ups.

Wellsprings are making a lot of money out of this, I've used it and it did nothing, I believe it to be fake, I told the company it was fake and they never replied, it's psychosomatic at extortionate prices.

I disagree as it helped enormously for me in peri. My migraines were getting horrendous and it stopped them in their tracks. I couldn't have been without it at that time.

Wellsprings has a psychosomatic effect, they tell you it's great and it is.
It's absolute rubbish and it's not got proper progesterone in it otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to sell it!

Wellsprings is quite low dose. I order from Ona's natural online, it's higher dose and actually works.
