and if so, who is going to help me organise it.

I don't mind putting in the legwork, but I don't really know anywhere so if it is down to me we'll end up in McDonalds with 5 hours to kill

and don't think you can ignore me, I will keep bumping this until someone responds!

Meh, not that fussed really, never have been about alcohol...I get hyper enough without it

Indith · 11/12/2007 22:15

How are we going to know who is who or shall I just stand on a table and yell 'is Squonk here?'

SquonkaClaus · 12/12/2007 07:43

I'll be the one in the corner looking relieved, lost and confused to be without children.

I will probably have about seven empty glasses on the table with me (assuming I have been there five minutes ) and unless I suddenly come into money (or put even more weight on) I shall be wearing a purple dress.

We could always carry a copy of the Financial Times and say "the seagull flies at midnight" if it makes it easier

smurfgirl · 12/12/2007 08:21

When is it again? I think I can come?

SquonkaClaus · 12/12/2007 08:24

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tis on 29th which iirc is the Saturday between Christmas and New Year.

Indith · 12/12/2007 10:19

Ok shall search for the confused alcoholic in purple ;)

Indith · 12/12/2007 10:19

Always get caught out by that one!

SquonkaClaus · 12/12/2007 10:59

how will we recognise you?

Indith · 12/12/2007 11:19

I'm supposed to have decided to what to wear already?

Long brown hair, probably down due to excitement at not having a baby to pull it, freckles, smear of yoghurt on my shoulder

I'll think of something better later

SquonkaClaus · 12/12/2007 11:31

twill be the yoghurt that gives it away

(and I only know what I'm wearing because I bought the dress in September to wear for a late summer barbecue that got cancelled so it's never been worn. If I don't wear it at Christmas, I never will and twill be a waste of blardy money )

Indith · 12/12/2007 11:41

indeed it would be. I own err...one skirt and two pairs of jeans. Lost too much weight post ds and had no clothes. Waiting for January slaes to buy more....but also kind of planning on getting pg again soon after so not much point!

SquonkaClaus · 12/12/2007 11:44

well I have clothes in every size from 10 to 20 so take your pick!

(I need to sort out the weight issue - fat or thin will be ok, but up and down is getting wearing )

Indith · 12/12/2007 11:51

It was just sooo upsetting! I was all happy finally wearing my size 10 stuff that I last filled when I came home off my gap year but it kept coming off! When your new size 8 skirt starts falling down you have to either rant about how shops are sizing big and it may make some people feel happy but it makes it bloody hard fot eh rest of us to buy clothes or eat more cake. I generally choose the latter

SquonkaClaus · 12/12/2007 11:53

hmm... so do I

But I guess I am double your size.

Does that mean I get to eat double the cake?

Indith · 12/12/2007 11:57

Oh defintiely.

Cake cures all ills.

SquonkaClaus · 19/12/2007 14:52

just doing a quick pre-Christmas bump.

How many of us are there? At my last count there were five definites, two maybes and a probably not.

Indith · 20/12/2007 13:08

Indith · 27/12/2007 12:15

SquonkaClaus · 28/12/2007 11:43
