Do you live near NW3 and have a baby?

Not really a Get Together post but thought anyone near to NW3 might be interested in the new session that is being run at The Everyman Cinema in Hampstead. It is called Scream and is especially for people to take their babies to and not have to worry about noise, disruption etc. It is every Thursday at 12.00noon, costs £7 for an adult and babies are free.
You must phone first on 020 7435 1600 or get further info from www.everymancinema.com/

Hi Davros! I've heard of these through my sil who lives near Finchley Rd. but didn't know the details. Thanks for this. May give it a go, but 12pm seems a funny time as most babes will be screaming for food by then!

Yesh, the time's my problem otherwise I'd love to go. My DD is usually still asleep then and will want food on waking.... Maybe I'll phone and suggest that they try a later time, even 1.00 or 1.30 would be better (then have to go on school pick up!). They're very friendly there and its a GREAT cinema if you haven't already been there.

Hi there, am new to mumsnet, but would just like to say that the hampstead cinema is great! I went to see shrek 2 there a couple of weeks ago with my little 4 month old boy. He was loving the big screen and then fell asleep!
It would be nice to go as a group of people though, as I went on my own and nobody really talks to you.
Any interest?

Thanks for the reply! I know that the Japanese story is on this thursday, a bit of a love story with Toni Colette( Muriel's wedding) Need to book in advance though. What do you think?

Davros · 28/07/2004 17:18

I'd love to go but I think my sister and neice are coming to visit tomorrow (still trying to find out) AND I'm not sure it would be suitable for my DD who is now 16 mos. I wish they'd been doing it a year ago If my sis doesn't come maybe I'll give it a try, we can always leave.

Hi Davros. I think you can take your dd if the film is a U, PG or 12A. Keep those beadies peeled for a film you actually want to see that isn't a 15 or over!

Davros · 28/07/2004 23:26

littlema, not worried about the film being suitable, just that she's big and mobile, not a babe in arms.
