Moving to West Sussex (Arundel/Petworth/Pulborough area)

Anyone out there in this part of West Sussex?
Moving from Herefordshire at the end of March and dreading it (for many, many reasons). Have one DS, 9 months old today.
Was wondering about groups to join too - playgroup / mums & toddlers / music groups (he loves it, I can't sing a note!)?
Some friendly thoughts much appreciated.

Hi Charlie, i think this is quite an old thread, but hopefully you will get some more replies!
I live in Storrington, so not too far from Arundel, aand would be happy to arrange a meetup. My DS is seven months old and we have also moved to the area from London.
If anyone else in the area is interested, the more the merrier!

I should be moving to the Petworth area in May with my four year old and one year old (boy and girl) I don't know the area well and wondered if any one had any recommendations for visits or tips on what to avoid?!!

Hi we have been offerd a house on fitzalan rd arundle
The area dose look lovely
The house we have been offerd the back gardens back on to river not far down from the out door swimming pool in fact it's about 100 meters from a converted windmill looking house !
Can any one help the river in these parts dose any one no if these homes has sufferd floods from it

There is a great toddler group in Storrington on Friday. Mornings at Trinity Methodist centre, which is great for babies to preschoolers.starts at 9:30.

I am new to mumsnet, but I do know there are very friendly mums and even dads going to a toddler group at Trinity Methodist centre, in Storrington, on Friday mornings, term time from 9:30-11. They have music time, a little craft, snacks, and the usual toys, very reasonable too.
