crazynanna - what else did she say?

...well,towards the end,she would just say "fuck off" usually Smile

Another one she said, completely always out of context, was "You can't save the world!"
'Oh look at that poor, old cat!'....."you can't save the world, you know!"
'I'll just have a cup of tea'..."you can't save the world,you know!"

Hmm
crazynanna · 23/09/2011 12:53

Hully...I wrote this on atother thread this morning.

Me: "Gran, there's a funny smell in here"

Gran: "Really? Well, you must have your nose too near your arse, then"

Grin
Hullygully · 23/09/2011 12:54

she is starting to sound like the gran from catherine tate...Grin

crazynanna · 23/09/2011 12:58
Grin 'Twas the dementia,Hully! If she only knew what she was saying, she would have been mortified! She was always such a laaaaayyddee Wink
Hullygully · 23/09/2011 13:02

Mine had Alzheimer's and had to go into a home. When we took new born ds to see her, she peered at us over the bedclothes all angry and suspicious and said, "Who are you? What's that? Don't think you're leaving that baby with me."

Pore ol Nan. She was luvverly, too.

Pagwatch · 23/09/2011 13:10

My dad used to say "if you do that again I'll skin you alive"
Hard as fuck, me.

crazynanna · 23/09/2011 13:30

All hail to the Nans',eh Hully Smile
Mine was lubbly,too.

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 13:44

That was nice then, our Pag.

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 13:45

Actually, I'm a bit cross that I've just spent 8 million pounds on a double-booked Traveldodgy seeing as apparently a satellite is going to crash down on my head this afternoon.

Pagwatch · 23/09/2011 13:53

But on the other hand you are hosting a champagne reception in a cardboard box amidst the rubble, so it's not all bad.

It is like the Vanity Fair party meets lord of the flies.

GetOrfMo1Land · 23/09/2011 13:54

Are you two going to the meet up, hully and pag (please say yes).

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 13:54

Are you sorted yet?

Progress report?

Shirl's signed up, Bins, Abs nearly....

come on

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 13:55

Bins? I'm obsessed with my bed arrangements.

Bibs

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 13:56

I am. She's being all, oo ah, the thing is. Some birthday nonsense. I wrote her dh a perfectly reasonable request that no right-thinking man could refuse.

GetOrfMo1Land · 23/09/2011 13:58

Where's the latest list of who is going

I need to pull my finger out and pay.

I am still in bed mind you (not chronically lazy honest guv, just working from home having to finish a bastarding document - it's done now so I should get my arse out of bed but there is something so wonderfully decadent about still being in bed at 2pm on a Friday!)

GetOrfMo1Land · 23/09/2011 13:59

Oh come oooon pag. You are so lovely and I barely spoke to you last time

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 13:59

Dolly needs to update it.

She is being very remiss

Bed is always a good place unless in a bin

TheRhubarb · 23/09/2011 14:04

I shall do my party trick of spontaneously combusting if you like?
Hope none of you lot are in the room next to us, we wanna party till the early hours and don't want a load of grannies banging on the door.

I've a cardboard box for any double-bookers.

Pagwatch · 23/09/2011 14:05

Dh is being very lovely and feels that ultimately my relationship with Hully is more beautiful and important that our filmy flammy marriage - all of which is very astute of him.

So we are trying to get babysitter to see if we can celebrate his birthday on another night. Our very reliable and cheap babysitter is inconveniently leaving home. Git.

Oh getorf. I think you had to keep moving away as I just kept cursing you for your youth and good looks. I would be ever so nonchalant about it all now.

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 14:06

Good ol dh! Did he not like my Paris option? Slightly more tricky on the babysitting admittedly...

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 14:07

Rhubs - I hope you won't be making noise after 10.30?

Pagwatch · 23/09/2011 14:08

He liked it.
But the Paris thing is less romantic with a dd who makes vomit gestures if you hug and a DS who shout "asshole" if irritated.

GetOrfMo1Land · 23/09/2011 14:12

Oh no don't be nonchalant, I need all the attention and random compliments I can get Grin

Pagwatch · 23/09/2011 14:13

I am getting confused about the pre meet up thing though. Someone needs to pm me with the best pre-pre-meet up meet up. And I mean the real one not the " let's send pag to the debenhams cafe" one.

I am not walking in on my own again

Pagwatch · 23/09/2011 14:14

I will just stand near you and lick your elbows then. That is about where I reach if I recall
