bibbitybobbityhat · 23/09/2011 09:26

Staggeringly inept question of the day no. 141:

Can I pay online direct from our bank account into Custy's paypal account, or do I need a paypal account myself? And is it secure that way or is there a chance Custy would know our bank details and could thus go on a spending spree with our millions?

Thanks.

bibs, I think you need paypal. It is terribly easy to do, even I managed it without kicking the computer. And yes, it is as safe as anything else online. And no, Custy can't access your details or moolah..

TheRhubarb · 23/09/2011 09:34

bibbity - Paypal isn't like a bank account, it securely holds money to be transferred elsewhere. I've never had a problem with it and it's useful if you ebay a lot.

Custy will most certainly not run off with your money, at least not without me she won't! Grin But with paypal she doesn't have any access to your bank details as your paypal isn't linked to your bank. All she sees is your email address.
But if you PM her she might let you transfer via the bank, although I've a feeling that she will transfer the paypal money direct to the venue for the room/food/DJ. It's easier that way see? Oh and yes I'm afraid you would need a paypal account.

Now what time is this 'ere do?

BecauseImWorthIt · 23/09/2011 09:37

Are you coming as well, bibbity?

bibbitybobbityhat · 23/09/2011 09:37

I think we've got a paypal account somewhere will try and find it. Gawd knows what the password is. Twas a joke about Custy making free with our considerable overdraft btw Grin.

bibbitybobbityhat · 23/09/2011 09:38

Yip! I will be the little round stern one.

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 09:51

I've booked a hotel as well

ShirelyKnottage · 23/09/2011 10:07

hmmm. I might book a hotel. hmmmmm

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 10:22

It's best Shirl, it is.

I've booked one for £90,000 at that Travelodge that apparently had a sale but certainly doesn't any more. I think they've got wind.

Bellavita · 23/09/2011 10:30

£52 inc breakfast

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 10:31

Try doubling it and adding a bit...

ShirelyKnottage · 23/09/2011 10:38

The last time I stayed in a Travelodge it didn't have a hairdryer but it did have a bottle opener attached to the side of the "dressing table".

My kind o place.

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 10:39

The bit I liked is that they don't provide toiletries because ,ost people prefer to bring their own and don't want "synthetic smelling.." hahahahaha

tight arsed barstards

Hullygully · 23/09/2011 10:40

The best bit about hotels is nicking everything not nailed down. Just the bottle opener then. Or I bet that's firmly attached.
