Come all you "I want to but I'm scared" nanas! I didn't know anyone last year, met two ladies on the train, mingled magnificently when I got there (and I am the poster girl for social awkwardness) and had the best time ever!

Please please come! You won't regret it!

There's just something empowering and awesome about a social gathering where no-one knows you, not even your real name! Try it, it's great fun!

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 15/10/2010 20:30

Annie, what a fabulous post. Smile

GiganGORE · 15/10/2010 20:36

and you are of course absolutly correct annie.

most people introduce themselves with their posting name and their RL name.
though i can remember only a handfull of those real names. and mostly only because i have stayed in touch with them afterwards.

you can come and enjoy yourself knowing that even if you make a total tit of yourself all you have to do is namechange the following morning Grin

HellaVita · 15/10/2010 20:41

Annie, I am liking the "mingled magnificently" Grin

BerryLellooooooooooow · 15/10/2010 20:58

Me too, I want to mingle magnificently!

Well come to the party then!

ronshar · 15/10/2010 21:14

Annie can I have a badge please.
I would like a picture of a Greggs sausage roll. They arent my favourite but in an emergency they do nicely!

Hellmouth, we haven't met but I promise I'm not too hideous!

Valpollicella · 15/10/2010 21:18

Nikki, I'm not too far from you - PM me? {grin]

bearcrumble · 16/10/2010 09:06

I have met Ronshar and can affirm that she is far from hideous.
