Just tried to get a price for Premier Inn Euston but website says nothing available. Not at their Kings Cross one either.

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 07/09/2010 23:20

bugger. riven is staying at the holiday inn kings cross iirc.

AnnieLobeseder · 08/09/2010 22:26

Wow, where did everyone go?

bellavita · 08/09/2010 22:30

Vinny & Me are staying about 2.2 miles away but will get a taxi there and back.

Nettiespagetti · 08/09/2010 22:34

Bummer I forgot all about a hotel!! Better get booked somewhere or ill have to leave stooopidly early to get last train back to sticksville.

Nettiespagetti · 08/09/2010 22:39

Just done quick google search on hotels near ec1n and it cane up with nude sensual tantric massage Shock Shock Grin

BelleDameSansMerci · 08/09/2010 22:40

I've just been a given a date for an operation that now means I can't come to this Sad

Sooooo if anyone knows a deserving MNer who would like to come but perhaps is a bit short of funds I'll happily donate my booking to them. Please CAT me so it's not a public thing - don't want to embarrass anyone. First come, first served. And hope this is the "done thing".

AnnieLobeseder · 08/09/2010 22:44

Right, so own hotel booking it is.

Obs, you want to share a room? Anyone else - they do triples....

Shall we all book at Kings Cross Travelodge?

Riven, are you staying over? Is that where you stayed last time and if so was accessibility OK for you?

Nettiespagetti · 08/09/2010 22:46

I'd like to share [need a snoring partner or someone too drunk to noticeGrin]

Valpollicella · 08/09/2010 22:54

Sorry all, just seen this as it seems to have dropped out of my threads I'm on.

Apparently they don't do group bookings Hmm according to the person I spoke to the other day.

And unfortunately as it stands right now I may not be able to make it, but will be able to confirm within the next week or so. Sorry all Sad

bellavita · 08/09/2010 22:56

Oh no Belle and Val Sad

BelleDameSansMerci · 08/09/2010 23:07

I'm really not happy about it at all but I need to get this op out of the way before Christmas. Sad Sad Sad

Valpollicella · 08/09/2010 23:43

?? Belle?

BelleDameSansMerci · 09/09/2010 07:43

Oh, sorry, wasn't trying to be melodramatic just have a tendency on here to make everything about me at the moment and was trying not to do it again Blush

It's nothing serious - I'm not ill. I am a bit scared about it though Blush It's just a sterilisation op and I've already changed the date a couple of times because I'm so scared. It's my choice and I want the end result but I don't want the operation to get me there. I'm nearly 45; definitely don't want any more children; and can't use any sort of hormonal contraception so it's either that or abstinence (which doesn't really appeal).

I'm sorry if I made it sound as if I had something seriously wrong. I'm not communicating well at the moment - which is great since it's my job to sell communications solution Grin

AnnieLobeseder · 10/09/2010 19:47

It's way too quiet on here....

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Party-goers, where are you?

CristinaTheAstonishing · 10/09/2010 20:57

I'd like to come along to the party, if not too late. I didn't know if I'd be working that day, but it seems not. I don't have paypal anymore, I will email to ask how else to pay.

Shoshe · 10/09/2010 21:11

Dare I even think about it! Last year got me ticket early, booked the train a month in advance, went back on the diet, bought a fancy frock...........................spent the night blue lighted into hospital with Pneumonia resulting from swine flu!

And none of you buggers even thought to bring the party to me! Grin

bellavita · 10/09/2010 21:15

Shoshe g'wan you know you want to Grin

I bought my train ticket yesterday.

Oblomov · 10/09/2010 21:32

AnnieLob, yes I would love to share a room with you. let me know what you need me to do. i.e make a paypal gift to you, or whatever needs to be done.

bella, please don't worry about op. best thing i ever did. recovery is tough. not toally unlike cs recovery. but fine.

annie, would love a name badge. so long as you don't put sandi tosvig on mine ( that thread the other week, of 'hat do you imagine a mn'er looks like'), then it will be fine !!

AnnieLobeseder · 10/09/2010 23:52

Cool, Obs. Shall we go for the Travelodge? Farringdon Rd or Kings Cross. NettiSpaghetti, you wanna make it a threesome triple?

I've got a newbie MNer friend I'm trying to talk into coming. If she says yes we can book two rooms, then keep it as doubles or if more people say they're keen have two triples. The family rooms (triples) are the same price anyway, so might as well just book those and squeeze everyone in!

I was so looking forward to a big group of us all staying at the same hotel but loads of people have disappeared. Very sad!

Nettiespagetti · 11/09/2010 08:19

Sounds fab to meAnnie! I'm game for whatever bedroom arrangement will just be great to have some fun and company after the meal.
Question is will we make itto breakfast in the morning?

Oblomov · 11/09/2010 10:14

whatever suits. am happy to go with anything. i'm easy. that doesn't sound good, does it Wink ? YKWIM !!

Oblomov · 11/09/2010 10:15

I'll bring a few bottles of rose with me, for after the party soiree, then, yes ?

AnnieLobeseder · 11/09/2010 12:29

Just to point out to you, Obs and Nettie, it's a family room which means a double bed and a pull-out sofa! We'll see how friendly we all get over the course of the evening before deciding who shares the double!!

I'm booking at the Kings Cross since Farringdon only has double rooms.

Comes to £103.72 with breakfast at £4.74 each, but I figure we'll need it! So that's £34.57 each. Sound fair?

AnnieLobeseder · 11/09/2010 12:33

Or should we just bring our own stodgy patries for breakfast?
