Hi there,

We've received the following media request.

Thanks,
MNHQ

It's been reported that vapes laced with spice are being sold to children via social media platforms and are 'blatantly and pervasively available'.

Working with concerned schools and police forces across England, the University of Bath had tested 596 vapes confiscated from schools. ‘Spice’ was detected in vapes in 28 out of 38 (74%) schools across London, the West Midlands, Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire. About one in six (16.6%) of the vapes tested contained ‘spice’ [source].

This is obviously incredibly concerning and I think it requires more press attention — I think a piece focusing on personal experiences could be an excellent way to do so. Anyone I speak to can retain their anonymity.

If you'd like to share your experience, please contact Jess on [email protected]
