My name is Maeve Godwin, I am a MA student journalist studying at City St George’s, University of London.
For my final project, I am writing on the topic of assisted dying. I am currently working on a piece exploring the impacts and realities of an assisted death on families.
I am looking to speak with families who may have lost a loved one through an assisted death, and who would be willing to share the emotional, practical and unseen experiences of losing a family member through an assisted death.
If this might be you or someone you know, I would love to hear from you. Because of my own personal/family experience with assisted dying, I am incredibly conscious of how sensitive this subject can be to discuss, and all conversations will be handled with care.
