AS A MUM, ARE YOU CONCERNED ABOUT CHLORINATED CHICKEN?
Mums all want to make sure our families are eating healthy food, and even if we can't afford organic chicken, we want to know the chicken we do buy is reared safely without having to be washed in chemicals to kill all the bacteria in it. At present, UK farmers, although not always perfect, do rear chickens in sanitary conditions. Unlike the USA where many chickens are diseased and are reared in such squalid conditions that they have to be soaked in peroxy acids or chlorine to kill bacterial growing in the flesh. These chemicals can also make the chicken it appear fresher than it is.
We at the message hub, a not for profit organisation producing factual content on social media, are making a series of social media films about Mums who are concerned about chlorinated chicken being on the agenda in a future trade deal with the US and I'm looking for Mums and families who would be willing to share their thoughts on chlorinated chicken.
