We're posting on behalf of the journalist at The Daily Mail.

Hello, I am a reporter with the Daily Mail and we have an opportunity which may interest you. We are on the lookout for families where one or both parents earn £46-49k from corporate jobs (not self-employed) to appear in the newspaper as a case study for the upcoming budget. We are also looking for a family where one or both parents earn just above £60k. The story will feature several other families who have different financial circumstances and the piece will discuss how the changes will impact all of them. We are now on the lookout for these two extra case studies, as we have had some last-minute dropouts. For families that take part, they will receive a payment of £250. They will also have to pose together for a photographer to come around and take their photo on Monday or Tuesday (24th or 25th) of November. The finished article will look something like this one from a few years ago: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11862691/Budget-case-studies-Britons-say-Jeremy-Hunts-announcements.html Please let me know if anyone is interested in this opportunity!

I’m sure it will be a very balanced piece.

No, it doesn’t seem quite balanced does it. The criteria is quite restrictive doesn’t it?

They will also have to pose together

Will the families have to stand next to an Asda food shop, looking sad and depressed.

“We used to do our weekly shop at Waitrose but now have to go to Asda. Little Johnny doesn’t understand why his cheese sandwiches now contain the plastic yellow squares instead of his usual manchego cheese"
