I’m writing a piece for The Times about the taboo of mothers taking recreational drugs and I'd love to speak to mums who find that an occasional blow out on mushrooms and MDMA etc helps them escape the day-to-day pressures that come with motherhood. They wouldn’t have to be named.

I have the occasional blow out on mushrooms. I say occasional, it's actually even Thursday and some Tuesdays. When the kids get home from school they know I'll be absolutely off my tits and they need to make their own tea. Last week I tripped so hard I believed I was a dragon but when the drugs wore off I realised I was actually a 57 year old sheep farmer in Wales called David and I don't actually have any kids. Does this still apply to me?
