I'm looking to speak (anonymously if preferred) to an older mum who often finds herself playing the diplomat when her husband’s friends, or her son/daughter’s difficult partner, come to visit.
Maybe they’re loud, brash, politically opposite to you, or simply hard work - but you bite your tongue, put the kettle on, and get through it.
