Self learning Psychology

I really enjoy learning all about psychology. I don’t really want to turn it into a career etc but would love to turn it into a hobby.
I enjoy reading all about how the mind works.
Does anyone have any suggestions on self teaching? Is there anyone that has done this? Would love to chat about it and get some ideas.

The Open University's free courses via Open Learn are worth a look, they have some psychology courses.

You could start your own psychoanalysis

There are different types of psychology you could study. Social psychology is fascinating. The Social Animal by Aronson is a good read. Then there is
educational psychology; how children learn, are nurtured, moral education.Perception is interesting and how and why we perceive an event in different ways. As others have suggested I am sure the Open University has much to offer.

I did an introductory counselling course. I decided not to pursue it as a career but I’m really glad I did it. It was fascinating. Touched on lots of different approaches to thinking about how our minds work.

I can recommend Oxford Uni's Lifelong Learning department. I've done in-person evening classes, weekend events, etc. (not in psychology) but they also do online classes. Check them out...
