New job in admin/customer service

Hoping someone can recommend a non expensive, useful and recognised course that I can do online to get me up to speed in these fields.

I currently teach English abroad but would plan to move back to the UK within a year or two and am looking at admin, customer service, business support type roles.

Pitman courses look good. Are there any others you'd recommend.

I'm degree educated, a good communicator, biligual and can get by in a third language. I use Word, Excel and Powerpoint for very basic things but am planning to brush up in my own time.

Any other tips/pitfalls to avoid?

Do you need a course? Or just to be able to explain and sell your skill set to potential employers?

What age group do you teach?

Not sure you'd need a course if you've got a degree. My DS got an admin/customer facing role in local government straight out of Uni.

I have used the Open University when I worked overseas. Most of it was online or course books, so was quite flexible I found.

If you do the free Microsoft training courses you'll get badges and certificates confirming you've successfully completed the course and will be able to say that you are beginner/intermediate/advanced in the office 365 suite.
