New start/sideline to develop, late 50s

Hi
Looking for ideas/advice please. I am a Nurse in my late 50s, did not do a degree for my qualification, worked for the NHS all my career and now able to claim most of my pension. My pension will not be back dated, so it makes sense to claim it soon, rather than missing out of payment. I want to carry on in my current role for the time being, the pension will be a welcome addition for our income/savings.
I would like to get to the point where I have another job/sideline that enables me to quit the NHS but supplement my pension, doing something new or a bit different until I can get the rest of my NHS pension/state pension or mortgage is paid off.
I am looking for inspiration and advice for a new part time job/ flexible income please. I am late 50s, no degree, a nurse, over 20 years ago I gained a teaching adults City & Guilds. No degree is a bit limiting and I do not have funds to get one, plus if I did by the time I got one, I would be nearly retirement age!
Be grateful of ideas please

Some sort of aesthetics? Another nurse I know has set herself up to do sexual health and menopause prescribing independently. You could probably find working in a charity with nursing skills. What do you like doing? And do you see it as something that might be a source of fulfilment, or just a way to earn a bit of money?

Thanks MurielThrockmorton, some good ideas. I am looking for something more fulfilling, due getting some of my pension, I would be able to find something different as will have that as part of my income but also not tied to NHS for the sake of needing to maximise my pensiom contributions. I am interested in nutrition and wellness, but not a good advert for it at the moment due to being overweight!

How much would you need to be earning from side job to meet that objective?

Look up SMAE institute, foot health practitioner course. It’s like a chiropodist but less qualified and the course is much quicker than a podiatry degree, but you can treat peoples feet either at home or in a clinic and it’s good money, a lot of former nurses do it and it’s a very flexible career. Feel free to DM me if you’d like more info. ( I don’t work for them, I just did the course 18 years ago and it’s the best thing I ever did!)

Thanks for the replies. I would need at least £25000, but hope to start alongside my current job and then hopefully build up my new sideline, or job, just good to have more flexibility at long last
