Im 50 next year, im in the middle of getting divorce. Im unemployed. I didnt enjoy the childminding from home after a year. Ive got 5 years experience with children but i dont want to work with children anymore.

Unsure what path to go down to? As I want to better myself and for my 3 children (11, nearly 15 and nearly 19). I dont want to be working all hours and being away from my children. As for many years, my brain was like a fog but now it is lifting.

Financially....im not sure as my house is up for sale too

Try the National Careers Service, you can talk to somebody who will guide you. Also lots of online resources.

Teacher/tutor? I know you don't want to work with children, but with 5 years experience Childmining you could do Cert Ed and become an early years tutor in FE?
