Not me but a friend would like to go back to studying physics at degree level. I think they already have an engineering degree. Are there any bursaries, charities specifically aimed at getting women into physics or STEM which are not aimed at the under 25's? Would any companies offer to fund it if she went to work for them afterwards?

I don't know, but an obvious suggestion is that she could try contacting the Institute of Physics and see if they can help. I know the underrepresentation of women and girls is one of their concerns

I believe if you study part time you can get a second degree in STEM funded. The OU offers BSc physics. I think you can technically study full time with the OU but it’s still classed as part time, so they might be able to complete within three years.
