MSc Interview - Questions

I've got an interview to study an MSc in Occupational Therapy and I've been researching potential questions etc which all seem straight forward. However, one site I looked at said that when asked whether you have any questions for the interviewers, you should not ask about holidays or amount of lectures/seminars each day. As a mature student, with a family and childcare to consider would it be really inappropriate to ask these questions? Obviously, I would phrase it in a way where I'm considering how family life would fit around the course to ensure I can give the course my full attention, but these are practical considerations - for example I don't want to book next year's family holiday for a time when I should be on placement or if I'm going to be in lectures until 4pm each day I need to make sure there's space in after school club for my children. Obviously these wouldn't be my only questions, I'll make sure I have course specific questions too, but would it be really bad to ask these questions?

Can you email a course administrator and ask in advance ?. This way you can go to the interview ready to discuss how it will work with your commitments .

Would the people doing the interviewing have any influence over timetabling etc?
For us there are so few rooms that we have no say over timing really.
Last module I was teaching on, I had to go from a lecture in one place to a seminar 12 minutes walk away, over a bridge. By the time we got there, people had decided the room was free to sit and chat in, so I had to clear them put before I could start.

Asking the questions in the interview is part of the interview.
So ask things that make it come across how keen and well-informed you are.
