Anyone self funded a degree or HND?

How bad was it?

Looks like the OU is the only option and I can't get loans due to a previous qualification.

Has anyone self funded either a full time or part time course?

@Taylorsversion

Have you looked at this option? It's only for fees not a maintenance loan etc. but might be helpful. And it's up to level 6.

www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan

You can use it for an Access Course, & even if you've had funding for undergraduate /postgraduate before.
You just can't use this scheme for same level funding (so couldn't get an ALL for two Access Courses). It's only

She doesn't need to. Normal fee loan is available to anyone who's already done a degree and want to study a science part time.

ALL can be used for the Access course though Smile

Don't know where the 'it's only' came from at the end there! Smile

Sorry to hijack. Does anyone know where I stand having had a student loan before but not qualifying? I completed the first year of a degree about 20 years ago. Am looking to go back and either complete a degree or possibly a masters using work experience entry route. I can’t seem to find any info about funding for someone who dropped out!
