Anyone switched from SW to LC?

I’ve been doing Slimming World for what feels like forever, struggling to stick with it and never been more food obsessed than I am now plus hate all the low fat fake sweeteners in everything. I feel like LCarbing would fit better with our family and my lifestyle but know if will be a big shift in mindset to suddenly be eating a higher fat diet so wondered if anyone else has moved from SW to lo carbing and how they found it. Any tips for a newbie welcomed before I start on Monday after I spend a weekend finishing off all the SW bits in my fridge & cupboards.

I did SW many moons ago and hated all the processed foods I ended up eating. I'm also T2 diabetic and have been lower carbing now for about 5 years. It's so much easier, you feel full as long as you're eating enough fats and proteins, and you can adapt family meals very easily. I've also lost over 4 stone without really feeling it was a diet, if that makes sense. It's a way of life for me now.

Just don't fall into the same trap of buying marketed low carb foods. Most are horrible and very processed.

Thanks I’m really hoping to get back to feeling full without constantly thinking about my next meal! Weight loss is my main motivator but general health and wellbeing (& losing the puffiness I think is carb related would be a bonus!)

I have done SW on and off for 16 years, most I lost was 5 stone and that was the journey before last, I'm now doing keto and I'm eating so much less and everything I eat is fresh, I have lost almost a stone in 2 weeks and it's not been hard at all
Tonight I had 220g chicken thighs, cauliflower mash with butter and cream and baked broccoli and I'm full but not uncomfortable and I think what helps is knowing if I fuck up even just 1 meal I will no longer be in ketosis so the weight won't drop off like it's now doing and as a bonus I still get a vodka and coke.
