Has anyone found a good low carb Christmas pudding? My reason for low is carb is pre-diabetic blood sugar levels so I’m cautious about recipes with dried fruit.
Sugar free Londoner has one but my husband doesn’t like the taste of the sweeteners in her recipes

The diabetes website has one but it has a lot of dried fruit in it so isn’t low carb in my opinion

Before I went low carb I used to make a massive Nigella Christmas pudding which was amazing but I would struggle with the will power to only have a tiny bit!

I don't see how you could possibly make a Christmas pudding low carb! It's all about the dried fruit, never mind the sugar and flour.

I make the sugar free londoner one, but I use a different sweetener and drizzle it with cinnamon syrup from Sweet Freedom. I'm sure it adds to the overall carb amount but not by much. I'm the only person who eats it in the family so I can please myself.

I think you need to find an alternative dessert as low carb Christmas pudding can't be a thing.

I did wonder about swapping out the dried fruit for berries and using almond flour as both are better than normal flour and dried fruit. Oh well, it was worth asking even if it is a no. Thanks ladies

Could you make a few tiny ones and freeze them? I agree with other posters, it's just not a low carb thing.
