Started keto on the 19th may.
Lost 10lbs in 10 days.... then nothing. Not a bean. Well, i went up 0.5lbs and down again, no idea why. 5 days of no loss. I don't understand.

Ive got keto strips coming today so i can check ketosis but I'm sticking to it religiously. Any ideas?

Always under 20g carbs, rarely up to 25g. Usually around 80gish protien and around 100 fat.. both below what a friend calc'd my macros at but i just can't get it up higher. Hover around 1200-1400 kcals. Am 5'3 and currently 15st 3.

I don't want to give up and I was so hopeful 😪

I have to say that I did low carb boot camp for 12 weeks a few years ago and it fucked my periods up for months. I think I was producing too much oestrogen as I started bleeding constantly and when I eventually went to the doctor I was referred for abnormal cell growth which the gynaecologist said was due to hormonal imbalance.

Any form of weight loss can cause temporary changes to your menstrual cycle since extra oestrogen is released when you start burning body fat. On Bootcamp we've seen ovulation bleeding (appears as a second, lighter period within a menstrual cycle), heavier than usual bleeding while on hormonal contraception, breakthrough bleeding with the coil, and return of periods in the peri/post-menopausal. It typically resolves within two or three cycles.

@Takingontheworld have you considered intermittent fasting or time restricted eating ideally 18:6 minimum or a 19:5 , 20: 4 read this free book by Bert Herring (his TED talk here shop.bertherring.com/collections/free-digital-downloads/products/the-fast-5-diet-and-the-fast-5-lifestyle-ebook just select can't pay for free book

You are not exactly enjoying what you are eating so it isn't sustainable. I do fasting mainly to maintain weight when I notice, clothes are tighter an usually a 20;4 but you can select your window. I use the Zero app to log it in and stay motivated. Again another free tool .
