I've had:

Breakfast - 2 bacon + 2 eggs scrambled

Lunch - prawn salad with real mayo

Snack- some crumbly cheese

Tea - will be chicken tikka masala

Not brilliant or exiting but I'm going shopping tomorrow and thought we might be able to inspire each other..

I've gone from 3 slices of toast for breakfast, 2 sandwiches and crisps for lunch (and chocolate) and then cooking 500g bag of pasta for 2 adults and a child (with a child who doesn't like pasta!) or takeaways. And then a big bag of crisps for a snack in the evening.

No wonder I ended up too heavy for the Wii to weigh me Shock Sad

beerbelly · 27/04/2015 18:52

I've had crustless quiche made with spinach, mushroom, bacon and cheese for breakfast - I make one on a Sunday and cut it into slices to have for breakfast through the week.

Snack was celery and cheese.

Lunch was salad with mackerel and avocado mixed with mayo.

Afternoon snack was a few berries with Co-Yo.

Dinner was leftover chicken curry with cauliflower rice.

I've had a square of dark chocolate and may have another later.

Boardingblues · 27/04/2015 18:59

Dinner will be chicken thighs, with left over slow-roat pork belly from yesterday, avocado and low carb coleslaw.

Celeriac!! It is effing delicious! Had it mashed with butter… Yumingtons!

SouthernComforts · 11/05/2015 21:35

Hello carb avoiders!

What is celeriac boarding? How do you prepare/cook it?

Well this weekend was better than last. My cheat meal on Friday was 8oz rump steak from aldi (really recommend it) with peppercorn sauce and sweet potato chips. I ate those chips like they were my last ever meal Grin

Today was bacon omlette for lunch, tuna salad for tea. I just finished off the tuna with mayo and I'm gonna eat some cottage cheese and a 10 cal jelly now.

I've switched to silver spoon sweetner granules in my coffee too.

OP posts:
Boardingblues · 11/05/2015 23:15

Hi Southern

Check out Celeriac info here www.bbcgoodfood.com/glossary/celeriac

Some recipes recommend boiling it in milk - I use water as milk has too many carbs!

You can make chips with it too!

BTW Why REALLY sabotage yourself with sweet potato chips????!!!! If you have a "cheat day" you set yourself back more than one day - you are not cheating the diet, you are cheating yourself! Eat your protein, eat your fat, eat green veg - the leafier the better. You will not feel hungry or that you are going without - because you are not!

SouthernComforts · 11/05/2015 23:29

I just checked back on my fitness pal.. thatday I had just over 1000 calories, and 26g of carbs (1 medium sweet potato)

Hardly sabotage Confused

OP posts:
Boardingblues · 11/05/2015 23:46

Sorry Southern - I was speaking to you as I speak to myself! For me, that 26 grams is 25% carb than I consume in a day… but I am really sticking to this. Not for everyone, but for me the results are worth it.

Boardingblues · 11/05/2015 23:47

meant 25% more carb than I consume in one day

Boardingblues · 11/05/2015 23:51

Today was Chicken Caesar salad for lunch

Dinner was left over cold slow roast belly pork with raw baby spinach, a little grated strung cheddar, half an avocado and 4 slices of salami

Desert was a Pilates class!
