I'm thinking of trying the Paleo way of eating. This is from a Health point of view. Some changes have already been made Due To DH realising that he is gluten intolerante. I gave up milk years ago because it made no sense To me To consume something designed for another specie's babies. I tend not To tell people that because the múltiple billón pound industria has done a good Job of convincing people that it's good for us.

I can't Get many books in English where I am so am limited To the internet.

Can Anyone suggest good web sites, or offer any other advice To a complete newbie please?

Yes def agree travelin, 2 meals is do-able occasionally if keeping fairly low carb so if there are benefits from fasting we might have that some times.

That's funny adora - my dp is the same he just cant get his head round the fact its ok not to eat lots of starchy food.

Glad its going ok so far. I had roast lamb today - really rare was so nice. i would never have had lamb before looking into paleo. had a reaaally small bit of chocolate pudding and ice cream too but enjoyed it!

Fairyloo, hello!

Paleo and primal and lchf are all caveman diets, there are slight differences but they are mostly the same.

No grains, no milk (unless its raw), usually cream/butter and cheese if the person can tolerate it, but it's often recommended to cut these things out for a month or two then add them back to the diet to see if you react to them.
Some fruits, but focus on veggies and leaves for your plant material.

Cook from scratch as much as possible, to avoid added sugar, artificial sweeteners and other stuff they put in food.

A couple of good (free) blogs are Marks Daily Apple, Robb Wolf. Com and dietdoctor lchf, google those, and they will answer all your questions Smile.
