I have a Joe Wicks one - it’s not no carb but lower in carbs.

Almond milk
Yoghurt
Protein powder (vanilla is best but choc is also nice)
Any type of berries
Very small handful of oats
Peanut butter

I have it for breakfast every morning.

You really want to keep the fruit to a minimum, obviously. I stick to berries like a few frozen strawberries or blueberries. These just add a touch of sweetness.
For fat and protein, use coconut butter, almond butter, natural peanut butter, cashew butter, or avocado. Make sure the nut butters have no added sugar. My favourite to use is almond butter. A bit of tofu works a treat too.
For sweetness, I add liquid stevia. If I have added protein powder to my smoothie then I will reduce or skip the sweetener. It just depends on how sweet your protein powder is and how sweet you like your smoothies!

Half a tin of full fat coconut milk. 1tsp cacao powder, half medium avocado, 5 frozen raspberries, crushed ice and 1 tsp almond butter. 1 tsp chia seeds. Tastes like chocolate ice cream

That's not low carb @AllOverit! 11.4g carbs just in the coconut milk!

AllOverIt · 17/06/2019 05:47

Not in the one I use. It's very low carb. You need to make sure it's unsweetened.

What brand is that @AllOverIt?

AllOverIt · 17/06/2019 16:54

That's one I got from Amazon. I use lots of different brands. The Aldi one I've got at the moment is more carbs, but not high at all. (2g per 100ml). I put about 200ml in a smoothie. I've used one from Sainsburys. As long as it's in a tin and it's not reduced fat it shouldn't be huge.

BIWI · 17/06/2019 19:21

But the carb counts do vary - Sainsbury's is 5.7g carbs just for 1/4 of a tin

AllOverIt · 17/06/2019 22:37

Of course I'm not saying they're identical! That's true of most things, brand to brand. Just look at the carb difference in various shops' 85% chocolate. Huge variation. But there are lower carb coconut milks out there including a very inexpensive one from Aldi. That was my original point.
