I’m quite active and I read if you exercise (weight lifting) then you can afford more carbs.

Meaning some people posting their progress or comments don’t get responded too, but the same few always do. No matter how fast the thread moves.

Bollocks.

On previous bc threads I’ve read posters have asked for their posts to be removed due to shame or embarrassment of not being answered or feeling ‘they don’t fit in’. It can be cliquey on there

Also bollocks.

I've been running Bootcamps now for 6 years, and believe you me, I read every single post on every single thread. I've never seen anyone talk about shame or embarrassment.

What's your agenda here?

I'll tell you what mine is. Defending all the posters on Bootcamps who work bloody hard to lose weight, who are also there supporting other Bootcampers and offering their advice and help. For free.

Not snarking or whingeing about their posts not being answered.

The threads are fast-moving, especially at the beginning, so if your post isn't answered, that's why. It's not because anyone is ignoring you. And if you don't get an answer, then ask again!

Anyway, this is a massive derail on the OP's thread, for which I apologise.

I have also done it before under a different username and did not feel unwelcome at all. I post all over mumsnet. Sometimes my post prompts a response, most of the time it doesn't. So what?

But yes. Posting questions that have been answered upthread but you cba to read is tedious for those who check in reguarly and want to read something new that moves the discussion forward. That applies to all of mumsnet.
